Constructed in 1889 as the first West End YMCA, now a multi-use building. The two main rooms of the building are mentioned below. THE GREAT HALL: This room is approximately 2,600 square feet. It has a 40-foot vaulted ceiling, a balcony with a sweeping wrought iron railing, and a fully-spring hardwood floor. The stage is located at the south end of the hall and the bar area at the north end. Because of its unique design, the hall can comfortably seat from 50 to 200 people for dinner, 350 for a stand-up cocktail party or dance, and 400 for concerts. THE CONVERSATIONS ROOM: This room with its large picturesque windows, a turret with curved-glass windows, and a 14-foot ceiling is located on the same level as the main hall. It works well as a backdrop for photographs, a cocktail reception, or a quiet gateway for desserts and conversation later in the evening.
